Note:
Please consider
each writing assignment as a 'take-home test.' You are
allowed to use dictionaries only.
Breach of the academic honesty policy such as plagiarism
(e.g. cutting and pasting other people's work)
or asking native speakers to check your work will be dealt
with according to the university rules and
regulations.
Format:
Please use the type-in manuscript paper genkoo-yooshi for the Japanese text (MS Word) at the following URL.

Please submit English translation of each assignment using a separate MS Word document.
Fall Semsester:
Please use -desu, -masu style.
Winter Semseter:
Please use writing style unless instructed otherwise.
Submission
Please submit each assignment in the
assignment drop box of your course on Moodle.

Rewriting
You have two weeks to rewrite the
colour-coded draft upon receiving it from the instructor.
This is to assist you to improve your writing and receive better
marks.
Late submission
Please observe the due date. You cannot submit the assignment
after the due date set on the Moodle drop box.
Late submission might be allowed for special
circumstances with the instructor’s discretion - illness,
accident,
death in the family, etc.
Please contact your instructor in such a case
IN ADVANCE.
